Greetings, I am Kamilah. You have made a courageous step in investigating help, and I welcome the opportunity to come alongside you in transformative work. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience, and I am passionate about the healing process. I work with clients from young childhood through adulthood with depression, anxiety, daily stress, ADHD, trauma, grief, loss, life transition, self-esteem or relationship issues, school stress, learning disabilities, family conflict, and parenting or postpartum issues. Because there is no one-size fits all solution, my approach focuses on consciousness and awareness, drawing from a range of clinical modalities and with a holistic and eclectic approach to empowerment tailored strategically and uniquely for you.

I aim to build a safe relationship where we can process presenting problems to gain understanding and manifest positive growth. I provide a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, beliefs, and your environment by acknowledging, accepting, and acting together. I will offer and assist with psychological education on specific issues and remain solution-focused, always listening without judgment. I strive to address difficult issues, empower,  inspire growth, and build resilience, aware that individual wellness leads to community wellness.
