I earned my graduate degree in Somatic Psychotherapy from John F. Kennedy University, where I was honored as Outstanding Student of the Year. Along with my academic background, I’ve taught at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and worked as a rape crisis counselor, all while providing instruction in emergency preparedness, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. My personal journey equally informs my work. Having navigated trauma, burnout, and the intersections of my Blackness and queerness, I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure of how to heal. It was through this experience that I turned inward, committing myself to healing through mindfulness, healing arts, and somatic psychotherapy. Today, I integrate Somatic Abolition and Relational Somatic Healing and Energy Psychology into my practice to support clients in healing, setting boundaries, and embracing self-love. My superpowers—gratitude, kindness, and love—are at the heart of every session as I guide clients to shed the weight of their past and step into a more aligned, empowered life.
