I’m Shaobeny Johnson, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate serving Black women and girls in Pearland, Texas and the greater Houston area. I offer culturally responsive therapy for anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, people pleasing, and emotional exhaustion. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, focused on helping you understand your patterns, feel more grounded, and build a life that aligns with who you are.

As a Christian practitioner, I can incorporate spirituality for clients who prefer it, while providing respectful care for clients of any background. I’m also trained in Brainspotting, a trauma-processing approach that many clients consider a helpful alternative to EMDR for working through triggers, painful experiences, and nervous system overwhelm.
